ABOUT US

KUMEDOR FOODS Inc. is a family owned corporation headed by Chef Babylyn S. Medina. We named the restaurant as Chef Babylyn’s KUMEDOR home of Asian Cuisine. It started with a dream of having a food business. And since cooking is her passion, she decided to level up to meet the sophisticated taste of her market by studying Culinary course for two years.

Why we named it KUMEDOR?

As a child, she vividly remembers that her bonding moment with her mother, father and brother is spent mostly in the dining room where her mother served the family meals with all the very tasteful dishes that she makes.

Why Asian Cuisine?

As a food lover, she wants options. She doesn’t want to be confined to a particular cuisine that would make her fed up. And since Philippines is an Asian country she decided to serve the Cuisine since raw ingredients has similarities and has ample supply.

MENU:

The Menu includes some of Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Malaysian and Indonesian specialties..And how can she forget our very own Filipino Cuisine. But everything were all adjusted to Filipino taste. She reduced the spiciness but maintains the balance in texture, flavour, aroma and presented it well. She maintains the consistency of her products.

Kumedor is a restaurant and also does Catering.

In Catering, we serve International Specialties. We have varied choices. After 5 years, we have established the trust and met the standards of clientele with sophisticated taste.

  • I can't say enough about Chef Babylyn's Kumedor. My fiancee and I hosted a dinner for her family and friends. We had a total of 15 guests. When we arrived the waiter went over the menu with us and helped to finalize our food order. We started with a great soup, moved on to a sushi/tempura appetizer. We had rice, chop suey, a chicken dish and a pork dish. The service was amazing and it is a nice sized, clean restaurant. They helped make our evening magical and I hope to be back someday.

  • Finally went here at the urging of friends...and we will be back! So much to choose from with Pan Asian choices. Nice that the menu are in tablets with pictures. We chose Laksa, Pho, Chicken Satay, Bulgogi, chap chae--ample portions for sharing. Everything tasted great. After we ordered, kept on looking at the menu and so many more we wanted to try--will have to come back with a bigger group. Place was very clean,nice streamlined design, clean Restrooms. Also, very nice price point.

  • I and my College friends are about to eat in Tagaytay but our car went overheat by Metrogate so we just went downhill and we saw Kumedor! We got in and the Waiter was very accomodating! We ordered Sushi platter, Adobo Rice, Garlic Rice, Sizzling Tofu, Sizzling Siisg and Lumpiang Shanghai! I have to say it was all so good! The servings were enough for all eight of us and we left the place happy and filled! Will definitely bring my family here soon
